On September 3, 2026, Nova University will host an event by the Slovenian National AI Competence Centre (KCUI), in collaboration with the Centre for Constitutionalism and Artificial Intelligence, on the topic of a new social contract for the age of artificial intelligence.

The central aim of the event is to create a space for participatory discussion among legal experts, AI experts, and social scientists, and to jointly seek answers to the question of how the social contract must evolve at a time when artificial intelligence increasingly influences decision-making, institutions, and the functioning of society.

Participating in the event will be Marko Štefančič, Klemen Balanč, Polona Picman Štefančič, PhD, and Matej Avbelj.
