Dr. Matej Avbelj will take part in a round table as part of the summer school organized by the Association of Law Students’ Societies ELSA Slovenia, which this year focuses on economic law.

The school is being held in Ljubljana from 23 to 30 August, with the organizers hosting 20 accepted participants out of more than 170 applicants from across Europe.

The round table will take place on Thursday, 27 August 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the House of the EU, Dunajska 20, 1000 Ljubljana.

Confirmed speakers at the round table: Zala Černilec Tomašič, Member of the European Parliament (SDS/EPP), Irena Joveva, Member of the European Parliament (Gibanje Svoboda/Renew Europe), Prof. Dr. Matej Avbelj, and Dr. Nika Mahnič.
